Hardy Newquay souls have braved the cold water of the Harbour for the annual New Year’s Day dip in support of Young Lives Vs Cancer. Formerly known as the Dip for Clic, the event saw participants, many in fancy dress, run into the sea, supported by lifeguards, volunteers, and watched by large crowds along the quay. The midday start attracted plenty of people keen to shake off the festive season and begin the year with a challenge for a good cause. | Radio Newquay
