Talladega Nights…….. CPD style. CPD officers spent the day sharpening and refining their driving skills at the Alameda Regional Training Center, on the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC). This type of training allows officers to practice such skills as Hazzard Avoidance; Code 3 driving, Pursuit driving and Serpentine courses. Numerous patterns, and driving courses, are laid out in orange traffic cones to simulate city streets. There is even a portion to simulate driving in inclement weat
