Meet “Big Red”!! This gorgeous 22 year old male Green Wing Macaw has just arrived at the rescue. He was basically living in a cage for several years now with absolutely no toys no enrichment and not much stimulation or handling. He is a very handsome boy and have been told that he definitely prefers females and at one time he was good with the mom but I guess as she got older she could not handle him any longer and he basically lives his life sitting in a cage.
