December 31, 1969 marked the debut live performance of the BAND OF GYPSYS featuring Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox and Buddy Miles. While the birth of this journey started on April 22 at a recording session at Record Plant, fast-forward 8 months later and this trio had perfected their own unique sound. Featuring a new band and new songs, the BAND OF GYPSYS made their debut New Year's Eve at the Fillmore East in NYC.
