Part of my process when wrapping up an engine rebuild is to do an oil pressure test before mounting it back. It involves putting oil and spinning the engine multiple times with the starter to make sure oil flows all the way to the top so that when the bike run for the first time, it’s not metal on metal contact for a long time before oil pressure build.
