Here’s a video of my dad playing “Geronimo’s Cadillac” on Austin City Limits in 1979. “Geronimo’s Cadillac” is a song by Michael Martin Murphey from 1972 that my dad frequently covered. He recorded & released his cover version in 1974 on his album ‘Life Machine,’ which also included songs like “When the Morning Comes” & “Boney Fingers” as well as other covers like “Maybelline.” His cover of “Geronimo’s Cadillac” did not chart but “Boney Fingers” & “When the Morning Comes”
