Perplexity’s Ask 2026 conference brought Personal Computer (a 24/7 Mac mini AI agent), enterprise tools for Slack and Snowflake.

The product is available to Perplexity Max subscribers. Perplexity Computer follows a usage-based pricing model, allowing users to select different AI models for different sub-agent tasks and manage token spending. Users can set spending caps and choose specific models depending on the requirements of each task.

Perplexity Computer orchestrates 19 different AI models—from Claude to Gemini—to execute complex, multi-stage workflows such as coding to deploying software.

All the user has to do is describe the end-product they desire, and Perplexity Computer does the rest, breaking down the assignment into specific tasks and dedicating sub-agents to do the work from start to finish.
