Lenawee County remains under a cold weather advisory until 10 a.m. Saturday. Wind chill temperature will be as low as 25 degrees below zero, leading to increased risks of frostbite and hypothermia.
“Extremely cold temperatures and wind chills continue today into Saturday morning while lake effect snow continues over the NW wind snowbelts,” the National Weather Service team in Marquette said today. “Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather.”
